Theta Sigma support The Fight Against Domestic Violence. Our sorority provides connections to local agencies and hands-on activities to educate our members and the community about the fight against domestic violence, as well as volunteer. AXO and The Woman’s center hosts “Take Back the Night,” a march where speakers tell their stories of violence, and a candle light is held in memory of those affected by violence.

The Hubbard House is the largest woman’s shelter in the South East. The Hubbard House provides shelter for both abused women and their children. It includes a school for children k-12, services to help women attain jobs and any other help they need. Theta Sigma helps the Hubbard House in every way we can. If they need pencils, socks, or clothing for their interview closet, we help provide it.

Dodge Domestic Violence is Theta Sigma’s philanthropy week, where we sell purple ribbons and “Love Shouldn’t Hurt” sunglasses. At the end of the week is a Dodge ball Tournament. All proceeds go to help women and families who have been affected by domestic violence.

The Alpha Chi Omega Foundation provides support to individual members and chapters in the form of educational grants. It also financially supports Leadership Academy, IMPACT Alpha Chi Omega, Kristin's Story, and many other programs. This past year, Theta Sigma has given over $4,000 to the Alpha Chi Omega Foundation.
